Statement from December 19, 2023

Fol­low­ing arti­cles pub­lished on Decem­ber 15 and 16 in Swiss media Blick and La Tri­bune de Genève, the Isocrates Foun­da­tion vig­or­ous­ly con­demns any alle­ga­tion or insin­u­a­tion relat­ing to the pri­vate sphere of the per­sons men­tioned. The Foun­da­tion firm­ly dis­tances itself from the con­tent of these arti­cles and will refrain from fur­ther com­ment­ing on them.

Fol­low­ing media reports ini­ti­at­ed by the pub­li­ca­tion of an arti­cle in 24 heures and La Tri­bune de Genève on Decem­ber 1, 2023, the Isocrates Foun­da­tion wish­es to clar­i­fy the fol­low­ing.

Nico­las Puech’s phil­an­thropic foun­da­tion was cre­at­ed on his ini­tia­tive and offi­cial­ly reg­is­tered in Valais, Switzer­land, on August 26, 2011. The Foun­da­tion is legal­ly bound to its founder through a con­tract of inher­i­tance signed before a notary in Sep­tem­ber 2011. (…)

Statement from November 21, 2023

On Novem­ber 21, the Isocrates Foun­da­tion has informed his grantees and part­ners that the foun­da­tion is, until fur­ther notice, no longer in a posi­tion to process new fund­ing requests. The foun­da­tion will car­ry out the projects it has already com­mit­ted to. All exist­ing part­ner­ship con­tracts will there­fore be hon­ored.
